West End Heights, Lakeview Health Services newest residential building in Ithaca, NY, recently celebrated its Grand Opening!

The event was well attended with Lakeview’s supporting municipal partners, business associates and community members in the audience. Dignitaries from New York State honored the event with compassionate speeches about Lakeview Health Services, the merits of this project and with participation in the ribbon cutting ceremony including:

Mr. Leonard Skrill, Assistant Commissioner

NYS Office of Mental Health:
Mr. Christopher Smith, Associate Commissioner for the Adult Community Care Group

Homeless Housing and Assistance Corporation:
Ms. Dana Greenberg, President

Community Preservation Corporation
Mr. Patrick Miller, Neighborhood Mortgage Officer

The ribbon cutting was a jubilant highlight of the ceremony with the participants joined by two West End Heights residents as our honorary ribbon holders!

Although West End Heights was the shining star of the day, the guests and most notably the speakers, spoke to and compassionately complimented the essential work that staff members in every Lakeview program provide every day, round the clock, to those served.
